Therese Schuleit teaches, curates and bends the rules of media under the name of ELEKTRONENTOTO since 2008. Since Jan. 2023 she is currently the curator of the Museum für Fotokopie (M.F.F.), where her research explores the artistic and archival potential of historical media and its remnants in contemporary human behavior.

Her internationally visible curatorial practice is built upon experience in institutional strategy, exhibition management, and the acquisition of high-level third-party funding. She has coordinated projects at the Academy of the Arts of the World for over six years and completed practice-based research residencies, such as the ‘Art & Archive’ fellowship at UMAM Documentation & Research in Beirut and exhibited at institutions and festivals like Kunstmuseum Bonn, Urbane Künste Ruhr und Elia Biennale, Wien.

As a producer and founder, Therese Schuleit has a strong background in initiating experimental platforms for public engagement. She is the co-founder of the Festival für Angewandte Akustik (FFAA) and the international collaborative broadcasting project radio in between spaces. Her structural expertise in network development is demonstrated through her past role as Chair of the Opekta Ateliers Residency and her proven success in securing major grants from institutions such as the Kulturstiftung des Bundes and Stiftung Kunstfonds.
